WHAT WE DO
We strive to lead people to Christ and through the journey of being a Christian by offering meaningful preaching, teaching and a blended atmosphere of worship and music. We also believe in outreach and do so through small groups, Sunday School classes, our Feast 14 program, and mission teams.
OUR COMMUNITY
We welcome all ages and people from all walks of life to join us. We love our congregation and everything that each person offers to our community.
About Us
Tyro literally means “new beginning”. As those begun new in Christ, we have a two-fold purpose: To help others to personally know Jesus Christ and to individually live out our daily lives as disciples of Christ Jesus. We reduce all of that to a four-word phrase – Be Disciples; Make Disciples. We know together in Christ we can Make a Difference. All the opportunities offered here at Tyro Methodist Church are to encourage, equip and enlist those who would be disciples of Christ Jesus.
We are excited and grateful that you are here. It is our heartfelt prayer and hope that this website will help you find your new beginning in Christ Jesus here at Tyro.
